The Car Draw Fee for June 2010 - May 2011 has been deducted from all relevant accounts in the first week of June 2010.  The annual cost of the draw is €40.00 which is deducted from your Credit Union share balance ( less than 77c per week!). The draw represents excellent value for money and members can win one of six great prizes each month:

COST OF BORROWING CUT BY 10%

The cost of borrowing in Newbridge Credit Union will be cut by 10% for all members

from the start of February 2010.

This will benefit both existing and new borrowers and is designed to help them in

dificult economic and social circumstances.

The details of the 10% reduction are set out below;

CUDA Welcomes Government Announcement on Savings Guarantee

 24^th September 2008

The Credit Union Development Association (CUDA) has strongly welcomed the Government’s action announced on Saturday that the savings of all credit union members, together with bank and building society depositors, are now guaranteed to €100,000. 

Billy Doyle, on behalf of CUDA’s Management Committee, commented that

“CUDA has long advocated the benefits of a statutory savings protection arrangement for Credit Unions, to be directly administered by the Central Bank, that would give credit union members an equivalent savings guarantee as is enjoyed by bank and building society customers. This is now in place and when combined with the inherent safety and security of the Credit Union model of operation, provides a great platform for the further expansion and growth of progressive Credit Unions”

CUDA is a legally incorporated representative association comprising a number of the largest Credit Unions in Ireland.  Its member Credit Unions currently have a combined membership of over three hundred thousand members and assets exceeding €1bn.

CUDA emerged following a decision by the Boards of a number of Credit Unions that a new representative model was required to support the continued development of progressive Credit Unions in Ireland. Its members include Bray, Dundalk, Newbridge and Tullamore Credit Unions.

2. BY E-MAIL - info@newbridgecu.ie (must reach the office before 3.30pm each Tuesday)

3. AT THE COUNTER

Members can call to the office at any time and fill out an Application form with any member of staff. Please note Loan Applications cannot be taken at the Express Teller Counter.

4. ON-LINE - www.newbridgecu.ie

If you have registered for a PIN you can log into the Members Area and complete a loan application on-line. This application, once fully completed is automatically sent to Newbridge Credit Union once you click submit.
